Flag Status

Flags have been ordered to half-staff as a mark of respect for the memory of US Senator Dianne Feinstein. Flags are to be returned to full staff at sunset on the day of Senator Feinstein’s interment.

POW/MIA flags are flown September 15, 2023, for National POW/MIA Recognition Day.

Sept 11 was designated as Patriot Day in Dec 2001. Flags are flown half-staff on 9/11 to honor the patriotism, service, and community that Americans felt after the attacks on 9/11/2001.

Pres. Biden and Gov. Carney have ordered all US and State flags at half-staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day, in honor of Federal, State, and local officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. Flags are to return to full staff at the end of the day.
