Flag Status

Flags were ordered to half-staff until sunset on January 13, 2021 to honor United States Capitol Police Officers Sickniick, Liebengood, and recognize nationwide law enforcement.

President Trump and Gov. Carney have ordered U.S. and state flags at half-staff on Mon. Dec. 7th for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, to be restored at the end of business.

Gov. Carney has ordered U.S. and state flags at half-staff on Sun, Oct. 4 in recognition of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Day, to be returned at the end of business.

The U.S. and Delaware flags are to be lowered to half staff due to the passing of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg until the day of her interment, to be announced later.

The POW/MIA flag is displayed on the third Friday in September for National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
